Cleo - 24 years old, part-time model, has a fetish towards blue things, loves to swim.
Steve - 21 years old, band manager, hates polo shirts, loves to wind surf.

(6:47 pm, Beach Resort, Batangas)

Cleo: Steve! What are you doin' here? This is the last place I thought I'd see you.
Steve: Cleo! Bakit ka nandito? At ano rin ang ginagawa mo dito?
Cleo: Wala, wala naman. Hindi na importante yun. Ano? May kasama ka ba? Nandiyan ba sila Joseph? Si Kym? Kasama mo ba?
Steve: Hindi, wala. Ako lang mag-isa ang nagpunta dito.
Cleo: Talaga? So what brings you here?
Steve: Teka, kanina ka pa tanong nang tanong eh. Ako muna. Bakit ka nandito? At sino rin ang kasama mo? Hulaan ko, may shoot ka na naman noh?
Cleo: Nothing really. I just want to escape from the busy noise of Manila. Don't you think Manila is too stressing these days?
Steve: Medyo. Pero dun ako sanay eh.
Cleo: Oh well. So pano, punta na muna ko sa room ko. I'll just see you around ok?
Steve: Ah, ok ok. No problem. Kakadating ko lang rin, so ilalagay ko muna tong mga gamit ko sa kuwarto.
Cleo: I'll see you then.
Steve: Bye!

(9:23 pm)
(Knock knock!)

Cleo: Hi Steve! How did you find my room?
Steve: Ah, eh, sinundan kasi kita ng mata kanina. Magkalapit lang pala tayo ng rooms.
Cleo: Talaga? That's so nice. So…what can I do for you? Pasok ka muna.
Steve: Ah…eh… ang totoo nyan eh, wala lang kasi talaga kong makausap. Naghahanap ako ng makaka-kuwentuhan. Ayus lang ba? Nakaka-istorbo ba ko?
Cleo: Sure! No biggie. I was having the same problem actually. Ang boring pala umalis mag-isa noh?
Steve: Oo nga eh.
Cleo: Hay naku, buti nalang din dumating ka Steve. Wait, I'll just get something to drink, para mas ok kuwentuhan natin.
Steve: Ah…sige sige.

(2 minutes)

Cleo: Eto lang baon ko eh.
Steve: Anu yan? Empi?
Cleo: Oo na! Wag ka nang mang-asar! If I only knew that you would be here in the first place, e di sana, bumili na ko ng Jose Cuervo. Hindi naman kasi ako mapili sa inumin eh.
Steve: Ok na yan. Empirador din naman ang iniinom ko sa bahay pag wala akong kasama. Sanay na ko diyan.
Cleo: Good! We won't have any problems then.
Steve: Simulan mo na ang tagay.
Cleo: (takes the first shot) Ang lamig dito noh? Magpapasko na nga talaga.
Steve: Oo nga eh. Malamig ang simoy ng hangin. (laughs)
Cleo: Shot mo naman. Ilang days mo balak mag-stay dito?
Steve: (takes a shot) Mga three days siguro. Gusto kong mag-relax eh. Tatakas muna ko sa mga trabaho sa Manila. Tama ka eh, Manila is too stressing.
Cleo: Sabi sayo eh. Nagmamalinis ka pa. (laughs)
Steve: Eh ikaw? Hanggang kelan ka dito? Maganda yung place ah.
Cleo: Uuwi na ko bukas.
Steve: Talaga? Bakit naman? Smahan mo muna ko dito.
Cleo: It's a long story my friend. And you don't want to know. Alak pa nga.
Steve: Lakas mo uminom ah.
Cleo: (takes another shot) Tama lang.
Steve: …
Cleo: Are you still a virgin?
Steve: Ha?!
Cleo: Ang sabi ko, virgin ka pa ba?
Steve: Bakit mo naman natanong?
Cleo: Nothing really. If you don't feel like answering it, feel free not to. Ok lang. (takes another shot)
Steve: Hindi na.
Cleo: Talaga? So how many times have you done it?
Steve: Di ko na alam eh. Madami-dami narin.
Cleo: Woah woah... di ko inaasahan yun ah. Tell me more details.
Steve: Are you sure you want to know?
Cleo: Why not? Tayong dalawa lang naman dito diba?
Steve: Sige sige... I have done it the first time during our high-school prom night.
Cleo: I knew it. Almost all of my friends had their first one during prom. And then? (takes another shot)
Steve: Uhm, ano pa ba… nakipag-sex narin ako sa History prof ko nung college, sa isang varsity player ng volleyball at kung kani-kanino pa.
Cleo: Ang dami mo na palng experience.
Steve: Oo nga eh. Pero minsan, di na nakakatuwa. Ay, naalala ko pa…
Cleo: Yung?
Steve: Bininyagan ko yung tropa ko. Nakipag-sex kami sa prosti. (laughs)
Cleo: And you are actually proud of that?
Steve: Sabi mo mag-kuwento ako? (takes a shot)
Cleo: Ok fine.
Steve: Ikaw naman. Magkuwento ka.
Cleo: (takes a shot) May aaminin ako sayo.
Steve: Ano yun? Nakapatay ka? (laughs)
Cleo: I'm serious Steve.
Steve: Oh, I'm sorry. Sige, tell me.
Cleo: The real reason why I'm here is because I'm supposed to surprise my boyfriend.
Steve: Ok... so? Ano nangyari?
Cleo: (teary voice) Only to find out that he was cheating on me. He was cheating on me Steve!
Steve: Calm down, calm down. Tell me, how did you know.
Cleo: Before I got here, I scouted the resort he's going to, his room number, the time he would check-in and all of that.
Steve: Then...?
Cleo: Everything was going well according to the plan. Then I went to his room, and I was expecting that he would be surprised the moment he sees me. But I was the one who was surprised.
Steve: ...

Cleo: (takes a shot) He's a jerk Steve. He is a stuck-up jerk.
Steve: I know. Calm down. Ikukuha muna kita ng tubig. Hintay lang.
Cleo: Huwag na Steve.
Steve: Ok lang. Para mahimasmasan ka naman kahit konti. At marami-rami narin yang nainom mo eh. Punta lang ako sa kusina.
Cleo: Mas kailangan kita dito Steve.
Steve: Sige. Tatabihan na muna kita.
Cleo: ... (takes another shot)
Steve: Sasamahan kita diyan. (takes a shot)
Cleo: ...
Steve: Ano na balak mong gawin ngayon?

(moves closer)

Cleo: (whispers) I will be needing you here.
Steve: Sure. You don’t deserve to be hurt like that. Let me help. What will I do?
Cleo: (whispers) I just need you to cooperate. Follow whatever I'll do.
Steve: ...
Cleo: ...
Steve: (whispers) Sounds fair.

(faces inches away from each other)

Cleo: (whispers) Ready...?
Steve: ...
Cleo: ...
Steve: (whispers) I'm just waiting for you...

(kadiliman)
